Cheap wireless routers are easier than ever to find for your home and business. With wireless networking being so common, the price of wireless routers is falling rapidly.

Not very long ago, going wireless was just a dream for most people. Now wireless is a way of life!

After all, it's fun to sit in your living room with your laptop, surfing the 'net.

Wireless networking certainly makes life a lot easier and there is no reason it has to cost and arm and a leg. Here are a few of the wireless routers currently available:

Cheap Wireless Routers Under $250

NETGEAR Router - WNR854T Wireless - Gigabit Edition. This router gives your home network incredible performance capability. It has a three hundred Mbps steady stream that allows for very fast data transfers and a connection that is incredibly reliable. It can work with a variety of connections and will make sure that you can connect to your home network, connect to the internet, share files and even watch videos all at the same time without losing any performance quality.

LINKSYS Router (WRT350N Wireless-N Gigabit with Storage Link). This router retails for $179.99 and is just as versatile as it is strong. It uses the latest technology to offer a larger range and faster data speeds than older router versions. It is also backwards compatible and works well in mixed-mode network environments. This router is an excellent choice for fans of multimedia and works well for both receiving and sending.

Wireless Routers Under $100

NETGEAR Router (Netgear WPN824 RangeMax Wireless Router). This router retails for $79.99 is easy to set up and to configure. It has wonderful signal strength and has minimal dropouts and few bandwidth fades. Instead of using an antennae, this router broadcasts the wireless signal out from its body, so if you are keeping it near your computer, you should turn the router on its side to provide maximum wireless connection. It also has multiple channels, so if one channel does not work well or interferes with your cordless phone, switch it to a new channel. It’s easy!

BELKIN Router (Belkin F5D8233-4 Draft N Wireless Router). This router is currently available for $88.99 and is very popular. This router can be complicated to configure, so it is best to have someone with computer experience set it up for you. Many people found that they could connect multiple devices to it with little conflict and that it runs the internet at full speed (most wireless computers don’t receive the signal strength they would from a cabled modem - but you might not notice a difference at all).

There is no reason to spend an outrageous amount of money on a wireless router when cheap wireless routers are so readily available.

These cheap wireless routers work just as well as their expensive counterparts, but have the added bonus of being far more affordable.
