Performance Mother Board

The guide here indeed is a very useful resource in picking up really cheap, performance computers.
I would like to add here that the latest mother boards with AM2 sockets support the latest generation of AMD AM2+ Processors, Intel also has their latest generation sockets which support latest processors.
Also, DDR2 SDRAM with 800 or 1300 FSB are nowadays cheaper than DDR RAMs.
The board of course has reverse compatibility, so you can choose an appropriate processor and have the option to upgrade eventually. The latest motherboards mostly come with inbuilt Hi definition sound and graphics, hence no need to spend the extra money on them. Also, more the sockets available the better.
By my experience i would say that money spent on motherboard is worth only if we have an option to upgrade it whenever needed.
